Welcome to Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Jam! It’s a monthly wizard rock challenge where you respond to a prompt through the medium of wizard rock. Each month, we’ll suggest a new topic and you’ll have until the end of the month to record a cover song, write something new, make a silly video, share lyrics or works-in-progress that relate to that theme. You can make a video, share an audio link, or just type your lyrics as a response. Comment with what you’ve made, and at the end of the month we’ll make a post compiling what everybody did that month! You’re welcome to be super creative with it – maybe a wizard rock song already exists that’s a perfect match for the theme, and you want to make a music video for it or choreograph a dance to it. Go for it! This is all just for fun, so do something that feels good for you.
The theme for August is “starting over.” Maybe you’ll share something about timeturners, or your experience of rereading the books, or Luna getting ready for a new school year, or how excited you are that the Wizrocklopedia is back. Be imaginative and have fun! When you’ve got something to share, put it in the comments so we can all enjoy it. We can’t wait to see what you come up with!
