Recently, Steph of Tonks and the Aurors started selling sunglasses as well!
Don’t get me wrong, I love tshirts, but you can only have so many before you start running out of drawer space.

What merch would you like to see next?

I know that it would be completely impractical for touring bands, but I would love a wizard rock camping chair.
Bumper stickers, notebooks, and travel coffee mugs also top my list.

    I CAN’T WAIT TO GET A WHOMPING WILLOWS KOOZIE.

    I think it’d be really cool to see hats. Like, giant bucket hats. Bumper stickers are also on my list. Notebooks or pens would be pretty cool, too.

    Tote Bags for sure!I’ve been using this tote bag for months now that I got at work as part of a “Green Team”initiative,but I would love to substitute a Wizard Rock bands’ version instead.And oh yea,WizardRockDA,guitar picks would be Swell!!

    I’d love a wallet. Also, can I be the first to say suitcases. They are always talking about having an easily identifiable suitcase, I’m pretty sure wrock suitcases would be easy to spot (not to mention a conversation starter when you’re traveling).

    1) Socks. Especially with elf-related patterns. I love funny socks.

    2) and book covers for textbooks! Alas, I’m a grown up now, but a wrock-themed textbook cover would have been so much more awesome than the silly ones I made out of brown paper bags.

    3) temporary tattoos!

    (for some reason, “Merch Girls are Easy” is running through my head right now…. hmm)

    #2. I think JFF and I have considered EVERYTHING for this tour.. I mean, EVERYTHING. I really wanted to do trucker caps with “Wizard Rock Heart Throb” on them, in some kind of cheesy 70s font (totally making these in the future!). I also considered shot glasses, bumper stickers, pens, postcards, etc. I guess it boiled down to what I could afford to make pre-tour — since I went through some pretty serious financial strife in late August, I had to nix a few of my ideas. But I’m realllly happy I was able to make the koozies and frisbees. If I hadn’t done that retired t-shirt sale, I wouldn’t have been able to front the cost for these items (nor would I have been able to afford to pay for the eye guy surgery — once again, wizard rock saves my life!).

    @Russ YES! SOMEONE NEEDS TO MAKE SNUGGIES! It’s the only way I’d ever buy one.

    I agree with notebooks and travel mugs. Banners would also be pretty sweet. How awesome would it be to hang a House of Awesome banner over my bed? And bookmarks. Good G-d bookmarks. I’m a grad student in English, all I do is read. I’d love WRock bookmarks.

    PS. All of these suggestions are awesome.. unfortunately some of them fall into the category of impossible, at least for peeps like me who make nearly all of their merch at home. There’s also the obstacle of spacial limitation — even hoodies are a stretch for those of us who tour, because they take up a lot more room than t-shirts in the vehicle — not to mention the fact that they’re two to three times more expensive to make. 🙂

    Socks, keychains, hats, tote bags, and notebooks would all be awesome. And how about plush toy animals? Like owls and stuff. Or the mascots for the four houses, depending on what house the band was in. Or how about the made up HP animals? I would love a stuffed toy house elf or niffler or something, whatever creature was relevant to the band. That would be awesome!

    I reeaaaaly like the Ipod / electronics skins =)

    But alot of sites let you make your own, you just need high res images.

    I always love buttons, as many as possible. Generally the smaller ones too.

    Mugs would be cool, but I imagine they are hard to schlep.

    Also, I think I would enjoy a franklin mint collector series wizard rock dinner plates….

    Continents. MOAR indy buttons. There are not nearly enough of them. Hand-made Amish quilts. Lampshades. Plushies of some sort. Laptop stickers. Duct tape. MOAR bookmarks. Also not nearly enough of these. Socks. Underwear. Tampons. Sperm.

    I would totally buy some Wizard Rock sperm.

    I like the idea of iPod/computer skins. Our electronics have got to have style! XD

    I also, for some reason, have this mental image of a pair of nice big comfy sweatpants with “Merch Girls are Easy” or something going down one of the legs. 😀

    Oh and bookmarks are a definite. With the amount I read, I need some good bookmarks…

    I agree with Maggie, wizard rock Valentines would be AMAZING. I’m tempted to make some myself now just to send to my friends XD But if you make them and sell them I’ll buy yours, awesome bands…

    I’d like wizard rock themed sneakers. I know they’re horribly impractical and expensive and whatever. But as a fantasy – I’d love that XD

    What about wristbands? Steph’s snap bracelets for HC84 were pretty awesome except the writing’s started coming off mine 🙁

    Some kind of cheap pendant to put on a necklace would also be great. Ooh, what about wizard rock DOG TAGS? That would be awesome. “I am a wizard rock fan. If found among Muggles, please return to Hogwarts.” Hahahaha I’d totally wear that.

    …sorry, I’ve only had 3 hours’ sleep. I do think the dog tags would be pretty rad though XD

    Awesome suggestions. Here’s my 2 knuts 🙂

    I’d love:
    -A WRock CD-holder/binder/pouch for storing all my WRock CDs

    I’ll second the votes for laptop stickers/skins, bumper stickers, socks, bookmarks (OMG yes please), plushies/stuffed animals. And I’ll absolutely second that suggestion about the Whompy Stole My Pillow pillowcase– too perfect!

    All this is too much fun to talk/think about.
    Alright… serious bidness time.
    Bumperstickers would rock. I like to stick them on my guitar cases… and even my car sometimes.
    Oh yeah, and antenna balls! How rad would it be to have a little teeny Whompy guy dancing around on your car antenna? They sell these little cactus guys out in Arizona. You just slide them onto your antenna. They’re hysterical, their little branches flap in the wind and it looks like they’re dancing. Granted that’d be a project, but they could be homemade.

    Julia: The “Let’s Drink To How We’ve Grown” koozies that Matt made up were originally supposed to have matching shot-glasses (which was actually the original concept), but as Matt stated earlier, the shot glasses had to be dropped for financial reasons.

    (I’m not sure if I’m actually supposed to be saying that publicly, but ironically, I’m semi-drunk at the moment, so my internal filter is in “off” mode :P)

    – ties, lighters, notebooks, bookmarks, keychains, guitar picks, socks

    Also, to reiterate some ideas said already:

    – those tiny backpacks you see Japanese girls carrying around
    – some iPod protectors (they’re not the same as covers; they look similar to socks)

    Also agree with plushie mascots from each house, especially as autograph plushies. Or you could cover them in wrock pins. Or you can make them wear robes of their own house.

    And very entertained by DA’s funpack. I wouldn’t buy it, just because its not my bag, but for someone whose bag it is, then is freaking awesome!
