Weekly Wrock Wrap Up

General News
The Mudbloods have made their earlier albums available on iTunes. Adam posted a blog with some information about them here.

Remember the compilation that Jarrod of Gred and Forge organized for the National Foundation for Facial Reconstruction, Siriusly Smiling? To date, it has raised $2,200. Let’s see if we can get it to $5,000!

Split Seven Ways has a new Muggle project called Zoe is a Doll. There’s a free EP for download here.

Number 12 Grimmauld Place also has a Muggle project that you can check out here.

Shows
Last week, we announced a show in Gothenburg, Sweden, but we have more details for you. Solitary Snape, The Halfblood Princess, and the Swedish Shortsnouts will all be playing on April 9th at 3pm at Bergsjöns Finska Förening. Tickets are 20 kronor, and all proceeds go to the HP Alliance chapter The Advance Guard.

Staying an extra day at LeakyCon? We already told you about the WizRock is Dead show on Sunday afternoon after the con, but there’s another show planned for Sunday night, mere blocks from the hotel. It will feature The House of Black, The Butterbeer Experience, and Ministry of Magic. It is 21+ and you need to buy tickets in advance. More details here.

Albums
The Misuse of Muggle Artifacts will be putting up one improved version of an old song a week until their album release on April 10th.

Neville’s Diary has a new EP, Least Expected, that was released on Tuesday. You can pick it up at a show, or keep checking the MySpace page where it should be available for order shortly.

Songs
Witherwings has added a new song to her player, ‘The Patil Twins’.

Neville’s Diary has added ‘Neville’s Lullaby’ to their page.

The Nifflers have a new song up! ‘Another Mirror, Another World’ can be found on their MySpace.

Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons wrote an instrumental piece titled ‘Harry, A History’ that you can check out here.

The Wizarding World has a demo of ‘Love at First Sight’ that was recently added to their page.

Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls will be releasing a new EP soon, titled Bare Bones. You can listen to one of the songs, ‘Flash Bang Done’ here.

Luke of Ministry of Magic and Kristina of The Parselmouths made a video for their collaborative Muggle song. Watch it here.

The documentary We Are Wizards is now available for free viewing for those of us in the U.S. on hulu.

The Whomping Willows has a video preview of his album, Demons at the Helm, that will be released at LeakyCon. It includes snippets of every song that will be on the album.
