Can you not download songs off of Myspace anymore?

I certainly can’t find a player that does.

The only way I know to get the songs off of myspace would be to use audacity. I can not remember how to do it off the top of my head, but google for it and I’m sure you will find out how to. Just remember that this may not be legal to do so I do not sugest you do it, but for those who want it, there is a way to do it.

Yeah, sorry about that. It has to do with the fact that they’re redoing all the players. Here’s a few tidbits of info:
1. All of the player counts are wonky, and will be fixed soon.
2. Lyrics, buy, and download for free are all not working, and will be fixed eventually.
3. Some players, including ours for a time, were not showing up at all, but that has been fixed.
4. Bands with Firefox are having trouble uploading and reordering songs – may or may not be fixed. Right now we’re just being told to use IE.There’s also more minute little bugs, but those are the big ones. Hope that explains some stuff!

Our band has it set up so users can download our music, and the player has the download counter, but it still seems there is no actual download option. This new myspace music player system sucks.

Yes, there’s still bugs (my songs are all supposed to be downloadable too and they’re not right now) but let’s look at it this way – none of us pay for MySpace, and without it, would a lot of wrock bands even exist? I know I probably wouldn’t 🙂 So I’m OK with it taking another few days to get fixed.
