With the fantastic success of this past weekend’s MISTI-Con up in New Hampshire, we all wanted to know:

What Harry Potter or wizard rock con are you most looking forward to this year?

There are also a few tours coming up this summer, but for this week’s Question Tuesday, let’s hear about the cons. You know, the ones you’re planning to fly out to, spend some sleepless nights hanging with your friends, and losing your voices while screaming your heart out during the wrock concerts to.

I discovered wrock in 2006 and fell in love with it completely in 2007. After fronting a band that played too loud & sang too out of tune but got to perform at Wrockstock anyways, I traded in the guitar and drums for a keyboard to help with the ‘pedia. You may still hear (or see) me bashing away on the drums for other wrock bands.

    Gotta be Portland. While I’ll also be at LeakyCon London, and it will be amazing being in England for the first time, I am even more looking forward to seeing all of my friends in Portland, which, for the majority, will be the only time this year I see them. Gotta love friendship.

    MISTI was certainly a big one for me. Camp 9&3/4 and LeakyLondon will also be a big deal, but I think I’m actually looking forward to Dragon*Con the most. While it is not a HP-only con, there is still a huge HP following. I see it as a way to bring more folks who might not have really found wizard rock before into the fold. It’s kinda weird being the band at some people’s first wrock show.
