If you are a member of the Harry Potter fandom and are on Twitter, chances are you’ve noticed everyone using the #Dumbledore hashtag in order to try and make it a trending topic. This is part of the #Dumbledore Twitter Challenge and I’ve already noticed the Wrock community joining in whole-heartedly! So if you haven’t already, tweet your favourite Wrock lyrics about (or containing the name of) Dumbledore and use the hashtag to get him trending!
But it doesn’t end there! The Harry Potter Alliance has been calling out to luminaries in the Harry Potter fandom to partner up with them and to help spread the word about Dumbledore. So if you’re a Wizard Rock band, start tweeting #Dumbledore, spread the word at the midnight release you attend tonight, mention What Would Dumbledore Do? at your Wrock shows!
We at the Wizrocklopedia have a partnership with the HPA for WWDD and there are a number of Wizard Rockers who have also joined up so far! All the HPA asks of us and the Wizard Rockers is that we tweet #Dumbledore, help spread the word of WWDD, and write a blog (or post a vlog!) about WWDD and what we personally have learned from the great Wizard himself!
