And the runner-ups are…

Like I mentioned in the post about the final voting for the WRPCAs, many of the categories had some very close competition. You may have noticed that some categories in final voting had more than 5 nominees, which means that we had a tie for 5th place. I just wanted to give some props to these bands and songs that were super close to making it into the finals.

We also had two categories in which the nominee would have been in the top five, but it was from 2009, and therefore, disqualified for this year. Congrats to The Butterbeer Experience for The Bard EP and to The Remus Lupins and Brandon Nicholas for their video for ‘Seven Potters’. Remember those for next year!

Congrats everyone! You all deserve to win. Isn’t Riddle Me This from January 2009, though? I’m pretty sure about that.

@Martha Nope, we released it at the UK Yule Ball in December ’08 :D.

I’m thrilled to be a runner-up! I suppose that’s a good thing though, as Dennis is still kicking around, and I think it’s safe to say that crisises (crisi? what the heck’s the plural of crisis?) follow him around as well 😉

@Martha I can vouch for Georgia and Riddle Me This being released at the UK Yule Ball. I WAS THERE!

Ok, I believe you guys, lol. I just swear I read somewhere (MyLeaky I think, check your MyLeaky profile to see) that it came out in January, but apparently my source was inaccurate. Anyway, I love your music, Riddle TM, and I voted for you in several categories. Good luck!
