A Message From the Editors

As many of you know, there have been some brief uprisings in the past related to MTV attempting to cover Wizard Rock. Not long ago, Freya and I were approached by the company to mend things with the Wrock community. They saw a great deal of success related to the Wizard Rock coverage and hoped to make good on their relations with us. Their initial hope was to contact Lizz, but following her retirement from the site, found that the idea of two people would be far more entertaining.

You see, they have decided to create a new reality TV show in which Freya and I travel around the US (for now – hopefully our ratings will give us the budget to travel abroad shortly) following the trends in Wizard Rock, attending concerts, joining forces with charity drives, and so forth. We know that this is a far from typical approach to Wrock within the community, but have discussed at length the benefits that can be drawn from us accepting this offer.

Our greatest hope is that we will bring to light some of the charity work done through Wizard Rock in the name the Harry Potter Alliance and other charities. We hope the additional exposure to the media will allow for an influx in donations to the charities that need them.

Freya and I will both be leaving our day jobs and starting the filming with the events at AccioCon. This will just be preliminary filming, but the show will be officially announced and aired in the coming month or two (we haven’t been given an official date yet).

We’re just excited that we can finally make the announcement to our loyal readers! Thank you so much for your constant support and the amazing times we have had with you both online and in person. You are all amazing!

We will be keeping the Wizrocklopedia live, but will not be updating beyond a final Wrap-Up to keep you up to date as of today. If you are interested in stepping up and being able to add content to the site yourself, please email us about it and we’ll get back to you as soon as we can!

Thanks again to all of you!
