General News
Heard about Wrock Around the Rock event at Azkatraz? Fortunately for you, they have extended the deadline for purchasing $90 tickets from March 1st to the 15th. You still have time to save some money and go to this awesome event!

Creevey Crisis has passed 20,000 plays on Myspace this past week. Congratulations!

The Cedric Diggorys are touring this March and April! Check out the blog to get the nitty gritty on the dates and locations!

Come March 14, the Nifflers are having their CD release show with The Chocolate Frogs and Oliver Boyd and the Remembralls! More info here.

The Hogwarts Spring Fling will be an alternative on March 14th for all of our UK friends! There is quite a line-up for this event, so if you’re anywhere near Cambridge or can make it there, I highly recommend it! You’ll get to see The Black Sisters, Riddle TM, Romilda Vane and the Chocolate Cauldrons, Siriusly Hazza P, and Split Seven Ways. Do it!

Secondhand Magic Supplies has a couple shows coming up, one of which is tonight in Ft. Worth, Texas. Also check them out to learn more about shows in upcoming weeks!

Thought Wizard Rock was just for HP cons and libraries? Well, think again! The House of Black and Fred Lives will be playing Anime Express on March 14th, a busy day for Wizard Rock. A day pass is pretty affordable, too!

Going to LeakyCon? Or are you just in the Boston area and want to see some amazing Wizard Rock? If yes to either, you’ll be excited to know that WizRock iz Dead tickets are for sale at last! This will be an amazing show that you don’t want to miss! For the line up, check this blog!

If you’re around for WizRock iz Dead, you’ll want to make it to the pre-LeakyCon show from the Witch Rock Series! It is going to wrock the house, so check out the line up and the details!

You know that CD release show of the Nifflers? Well, you can check out their album art for Singing Songs and Clap-a-longs, too!

Nagini‘s EP, Twelve Foot Blues, is suddenly going to be released later. However, it’s not a total loss. In fact, it’s going to be pretty amazing because new songs are being added, re-recorded, and it will suddenly go from EP to full length album!

The Ministry of Magic has released their third full length album, Onward and Upward!

The Enchanted Ceiling EP by Harry and the Potters is now available on iTunes. Nifty!

Weird Paul and MC Mystery are working on putting together a compilation. They are “currently looking to find other Wizard Rock bands to put out a Wizard Rock compilation. We’re also interested in finding other Muggle bands who like Harry Potter to see if they’d like to write Wrock songs for the comp as well!”

Dawlish and the Archies have put out a parody of The Curse Breakers‘ ‘Full Moon’ called ‘Fat Aunt Rising’. Go check it out!

Additionally, Dawlish and the Archies have up three other new songs on their Myspace alongside their parody. Listen to ‘Dark Lord’ (a parody of ‘Candyman’), ‘Aggrandizin’ Rhymin’ (a rap to the Tetris theme), and ‘2009 Sampler’ (a sample of some of the songs they hope to release this year).
