SpellCast’s Red Carpet Coverage

The Harry Potter creativity podcast known as SpellCast reported from the red carpet in Los Angeles for the Order of the Phoenix movie premiere in July. At approximately 12:45 in the video above, Daniel Radcliffe is asked if he’s heard any music made by “wizarding rock” bands. His reaction is rather amusing!

If you would like to contact Mr. Radcliffe about wizard rock, a fan mail address can be found right here.

That was lovely, he is a very nice boy. I didn’t know about wizarding rock bands until last June, and I’ve been a HP fans since 5 years ago so… hehe
I’m sure after hearing about it, Dan has investigated about them, because he loves music.

    “About fifty”?

I think there’s a damn sight more of us than that, surely…

That was really interestiing. I didn’t like the screaming fans tho. Too old for that nonsense. I went to one Harry Potter premiere and sadly didn’t get to walk the red carpet but had to stay around with the other fans. It was too much and I will never do it again.

Great clip! I get the same reaction when I tell my friends I’m in a Harry Potter band. “What? That’s odd.” Then they run away.

BTW, for those that want to skip to the response, it actually happens right before the 13:30 mark.
