The Pennsylvania based band announced in their blog that they are officially calling it quits. They write, “The bottom line is that we were only doing this for fun, and it just wasn’t fun anymore.” Read the rest of what they had to say here. For those of us who had a chance to see Order of Merlin perform, this is truly a sad day. Order of Merlin had become one of my top five favorite wizard rock bands and it’s a shame they weren’t able to keep it going. I wish them the best of luck, and I hope they all find other awesome bands to be part of.
