Band of the Month: January 2007

We thought it would be nice to start 2007 off with a bang with The Remus Lupins as Band of the Month!

Out of California, The Remus Lupins are one of the best known wizard rock bands in existence. In addition to having released a full-length album and two EPs, the band has toured the US multiple times this past year after hitting the wizard rock scene in October of 2005. As usual, we will be coming up with as many ways as possible to celebrate and showcase the band and it’s music.

The Remus Lupins‘ Wizrocklopedia profile is finally online, featuring a complete discography. Lyrics to many Remus Lupins songs are now online in two sections: Spells From A Broken Wand and Other Lyrics. Song previews from Spells From A Broken Wand can also be found onsite!

Our wonderful artist Dani has designed a Remus Lupins inspired wallpaper for your computer. Check it out in our WRock Wallpapers section. It’s on my computer right now.

Previously published Wizrocklopedia features about The Remus Lupins include a review of the debut album Spells From A Broken Wand, the concert write-up “How Alex Carpenter Crushed Me With His Love,” and our extensive and growing photo gallery. Alex has also graced our podshow with his precense in episodes three and four.

You can expect a number of other things this month including additional galleries, exclusive interviews, further profile embellishments, and more.
