Another article discussing wizard rock and the Harry Potter fandom has emerged online. Entitled, “Wizard Rock: Another Harry Potter Fan Phenomenon: Bands Inspired by the Characters and Mythology of the Harry Potter Series,” it mentions bands Harry and the Potters, Draco and the Malfoys, The Remus Lupins, The Hermione Crookshanks Experience, The Whomping Willows, and The Sectumsempras. Although the author’s tone can be condescending at times with words like, “[the bands] are at least occasionally good enough to merit some of your online download time,” she does commend each band in some way or another. While it is not the best portrayal of wizard rock one could hope for, the author at least attempted to share some of our favorite bands with the public. Check it out. We also recommend leaving your two cents (or offering some corrections to her egregious errors) by commenting on it.
