As we talked about on Saturday, the new series of movies beginning with “Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them” will be the first “official” new material in the Potterverse since the release of Deathly Hallows, and some of JKR’s statements afterwards. It’s going to be an exciting leadup to the premier of the first movie, as speculation and theories are already cropping up – the most amusing one, to me anyways, was the remark that the green light Jay Gatsby saw was really Death Eaters!

With the films being set 70 years before the wizarding world we know, AND with it being set in New York (at least parts of the films, anyways) we wanted to know – what are you most excited to see or learn about in the new movies?

I think it’ll be great to see another country’s wizarding society for the most part. We caught glimpses of how things were different at Hogwarts vs. other countries in The Goblet of Fire, so having some action in the movies set “across the pond” could provide with some fun (and probably hilarious) situations.
