Band of the Month: December 2006

Our second Band of the Month is The Mudbloods!

The Mudbloods are currently located in Austin, Texas and consist of mainly three members (see their profile for details). They are a favorite of staff members Liz and khittie. The band is not as exceptionally well known as some (like Harry and the Potters), but the Wizrocklopedia is incredibly fond of and impressed with their music and lyrics and felt compelled to showcase their contribution to the wizard rock movement!

Just like last month, we’ll be celebrating The Mudbloods a number of ways all month long. So far, here’s what we’ve got:

Previews of the songs on their debut album. The Mudbloods gave us permission to create 20 second clips of each of their tracks, which can be listened to by visiting their onsite profile.

Out of the Forbidden Forest,” a review of the CD by staff member Liz. Supplies of this album are nearly exhausted! See what the Wizrocklopedia thinks and buy your copy before they’re all gone (read more).

An Interview With Adam Dubberly,” was written back in the spring for the wizard rock group on MySpace. You can read it right here at the Wizrocklopedia.

“Adam Dubberly Interview, a Sequel,” published on the 31st, Adam talks with Liz about wizard rock, their hopes for more shows, excellent books, and more. Read it here.

And don’t forget to visit the Mudbloods’ Wizrocklopedia profile, full of information you just have to know.

You can help us celebrate the band by submitting fanart, videos, photos, and more via email to wizrocklopedia@yahoo.com.

There’s plenty more to come!
