As we roll into another month, we’re on schedule to see the results of September’s Jam. Keep practicing your skills though. You’ll need them for the challenge stationed at the end of this post.
Last month’s prompt was train. New wizard rock band Whoosh! took the opportunity to release Wrocking the Train Station, an EP recorded inside Chicago’s Ogilvie Transportation Center. Whoosh! may be the first wizard rock band to sing Platform 9 and 3/4 in a train station. The acoustics are phenomenal. (As a member of Whoosh! myself, I am excited for you all to hear what my friends and I have gotten up to.)
The Bookish Hufflepuff made her first collage since January, drawing from the same Harry and the Potters classic, Platform 9 and 3/4. She says:
I’ve been developing new hobbies with graphic design and bracelet making. I’m very proud of how this one came together, so I guess you could say all those new artistic pursuits have been helping me train my eye.

This October, our Jam is sweet. Whether you write another song about Honeydukes, draw a heartwarming moment, or compose something short and sweet, it’s all welcome here. The goal is to get creative for the sake of it.
I look forward to learning where your art takes you. For now though, parting is… part of the process. See you next month!
