Question Tuesday

With LeakyCon London quickly approaching, we’ll be seeing another big festival featuring wizard rock. Sweden recently had the Wrock and Love festival, and here in the US, Wrockstock Reunited just let a bunch of wizard rock fans go crazy and have fun. Wrock has always been an international phenomenon, just take a look at our bands listing page to verify that. So with that all in mind, here’s our question this week:

What country (other than your own) would you like to travel to for a wizard rock festival or convention?

There are so many countries in the world that I haven’t been to which also feature a number of wizard rock bands, I don’t know if I could pick one! So what’s your choice, and why? Let us know in the comments below!

Clearly, you want a Wizard atmosphere for some full one wizwrock, so you have to go where they have the blinginist castles, which is Germany. We are all familiar with the Neuschwanstein Castle. It’s a fairy tale themed real castle. Not only that, but some of the greatest composers came from Germany, Mozart, Beethoven, Bach, etc… And the beer would be epic! It would be entitled Wrocktober Fest!

I want to say somewhere really close to Australia so it doesn’t cost much…. Um the Wizarding World of Harry Potter in Japan when it opens? (Not that that’s cheap to fly to from Australia. Everywhere is expensive to fly to from Australia. Except Bali.)

Though I also think it would be really cool to have some amazing wrock shows in Scotland.

If money was no object we would need to have a Wrockstock at the hot springs in Iceland.

Honestly, we’d love to play London or Scotland!!
