Here at the ‘pedia, we need your help, and we figured the best way to do that would be to bribe you!

We will be holding four separate contests over the next two months:

Contest #1: Artwork
We are looking for some new artwork to represent the Wizrocklopedia. This will be added to Wizrocklopedia merchandise available for sale on our Zazzle account. It should be something that is simple enough to work for a button, but also interesting enough to be on a tshirt. The deadline for submitting artwork will be October 9th.

Contest #2: Slogan
We need a catchphrase! Give us a sentence that you think sums up the Wizrocklopedia. The deadline for the slogan is September 25th.

Contest #3: Wizrocklopedia Commercial
In a video less than 2 minutes long, make a commercial for the Wizrocklopedia! We want you to convince others to read the site. The deadline for this is October 16th.

Contest #4: Wizard Rock Commercial
Again, in a video less than 2 minutes long, make a commercial about wizard rock in general! Why should people be listening to wizard rock and joining the community? The deadline for this is also October 16th.

All artwork and slogans should be submitted to freya@wizrocklopedia.com, with the subject line “Contest”. Videos should be uploaded to YouTube or another video hosting site and the link should be sent to freya@wizrocklopedia.com, again, with the subject line “Contest”.

You are welcome to enter the contests as many times as you would like. Dinah and I will be judging, but if we feel we can’t be objective, we will bring in outside assistance.

Now for the exciting part! Prizes!
Each winner will receive a copy of The Basilisk in Your Pasta‘s EP from the EP of the Month Club last year and their choice of a tote bag or tshirt with the Wizrocklopedia “W” on it, hand-painted by me! You can even pick the colors. In addition, the winners of the artwork and video contests will receive a Gred and Forge CD or tshirt.

Our community is filled with such witty and talented people that we couldn’t be more excited to see what everyone comes up with! Now, go create!
